The requirement was handling a flow of 2000 m3/hr. The pumping distance was only 30m but this project was important to avoid overflowing of stormwater manholes, and subsequent flooding in certain parts of the city.

Gulf Sands used 2 nos of their 12” Cornell pumps UAE to successfully handle the required flow through layflat discharge hoses. The main client ADSSC, was extremely satisfied with the overall setup of the whole pumping system, as well as the performance of the pumps. Due to the excellent efficiency of the pumps, the client saved lot of money on fuel. This project ran for almost 45 days.
